Study for the vertical expansion of the Panarkadiko Hospital of Tripoli

Given the hospital’s continuously increasing needs and the necessity to improve and modernize its facilities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the expansion of the hospital was deemed essential. The project aims to relocate and simultaneously enlarge existing departments such as the diagnostic laboratories, the blood donation unit, the endoscopy complex, the surgical suite, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), as well as the required electromechanical facilities necessary to support these operational units.
  • In accordance with Article 100 of Law 3852/2010, the Region of Peloponnese — through the Directorate of Technical Works of the Regional Authority — in collaboration with the Panarcadian Federation of America, the General Panarkadiko Hospital of Tripoli, and PELOPONNISOS S.A., have undertaken to address the above needs of the hospital. To this end, the architectural firm **ELYTRON** has been commissioned to design the **vertical expansion of the existing ground-floor Emergency Department (Traumatology) building**, originally constructed in 2002.
